This scanner is one of the best investments that I have made in a long time. It easily does the home office things that would be expected and its ability to do quality scans of negatives and slides is easily at professional levels. The software that comes with it is perfectly suited for the applications I need.

This scanner does everything that I need to do. I just wish that I had thought of looking to see if it worked by remote and not needing a cable.

I had an older model Epson scanner for years and never gave it a thought because it always performed without a hitch. New OS, new scanner.

Perfection V550 scanner

Just set it up and tested it. Looks great. Disappointed that you do not provide an optical character reading software. Otherwise I will find this scanner excellent to scan photos and slides.

I general, the scanner works very well. For reasons that are not clear to me, some photos and slides are not as clear as others when scanned into my computer.

So far so good. Happy. High dpi gave great quality scan. Worth the extra room and piece of equipment for my art.
