Great Scanner

I just installed this scanner and in the time of about 30 minutes scanned a dozen slides that look great. The best part is they are 20 years old and look like they were just taken.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent unit with great feature. It could be made to change resolotion easier (on the fly). To much trouble to change resollution so I keep it photo. Not the best

Always works perfectally....I've scanned thousands of Slides, Negatives and copies.
Very satisfied....and affordable.

Great scanner

I have had two versions of this scanner... On of them I purchased nearly a decade ago... Well, it never broke I misplaced it. So, I bought this newer, faster model a few weeks ago and was delighted! Since then, I have found the old one! So I gave it to my sister. It's a great series of products that imports old photo negatives and slides perfectly and quickly. I highly recommend it!

I bought this scanner because of a great review in our local paper. It would be nice if I could get it to work. Running Windows 10 and cannot get my computer to recognize the scanner. Have tried every suggestion but just doesn't work.

Slightly DISAPPOINTED!

After about ten years of very satisfied use, I replaced my old desktop computer. In addition, I decided to replace my Epson Perfection 4180 Photo scanner with (what I thought, after ten years) would be a GREAT UPGRADE. As I said, Slightly DISAPPOINTED! Yes, the new scanner works fine - very slightly better than my ten year old 4180. BUT, the software looks like a throw-back! What used to take me just a few keystrokes now makes me jump through MANY, MANY hoops! (basically to select the type of file ("PDF" or "JPG") AND then to "BROWSE" to FIND a desired location where the scanned file would be located. VERY FRUSTRATING!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

if you absolutely need to scan in negatives or slides should you consider this product. It is absolutely the SLOWEST scanner I have EVER used. It does offer a number of options in terms of selecting what you are scanning but it takes an average of 3 minutes to scan 4 slides - abysmal performance. BUT, was the only scanner I could find in my area that could scan negatives (only reason for purchase) and my former scanner for this purpose finally gave up the ghost. Expect nothing more than an ability to scan in negatives, film, slides, etc. and be prepared to WAIT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I currently have about five Epson Scanners and about five printers. I can find no fault in any of them, this scanner is probably the lowest price scanner THAT I HAVE AND IT IS GREAT. A really good buy.
My earliest Epson scanner is a Perfection 2450 and I also have V770.
