i cannot understand how pathetic this software is. luckily i have 3 different computers and this software is only compatible with one. i have had this for over a month now and, have yet to return it because of how inconvenient it is to lug this giant box back to the retailer, but i have yet to even scan an image because of the frustrating software that has yet to work. only buy this product if you have very high patience

Missing Cable!

I have high hopes for this scanner...as soon as I run to the store and buy the USB cable that was missing from the box. Frustrating.

scanner does not turn on, 1st replacement arrive broken,
2nd replacement did not turn on either, received a new AC Adapter and cable

Cannot get scanner to work!

Downloaded the software from the enclosed disk. Got the new software updates but keep getting a "Epson shut down unexpectedly. Re-load software". I have tried 3 times and still get the same error? The scanner will not work?

I have followed all directions for unpacking, installing software and connecting to my computer. Allah! Nothing! So I repeated the process and still nothing. What to do? No lights on the scanner and I paid the electric bill! Woe is me...what to do!

It is the year 2016, I do not have a CD-Rom player. Where is your online downloadable content that works? What I downloaded did not work. Now I have to go buy a external CD-Rom drive. Thanks, and get a STEAM account so I can download from there.

Good news & Bad news

The Good news is that, for the most part, I'm very happy with my new scanner. The Bad news is that you could not have found a less convenient location for the power switch. Why couldn't the power switch have been located with all of the other controls?
