Powerful and convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is powerful and the controls are convenient to use. The functions are all what you would expect from an appliance of good quality. We've had our Microwave for about 4 months now and have had no problems.
One minor inconvenience is the fact that the clock goes dark after a predetermined interval, and the controls must be touched to light it up. Much better if you could look at it any time and see the time of day.
Other than that, no problems, no criticisms.
Pros: Features/Settings, Performance, easy to use

Just ok for performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lit keypad would be helpful. Bulb stopped working after a few months, assume it burned out. Performs basic heating functions, we don't really use any of the other "features". So far it has lasted 14 months and still works. Sadly, that's pretty good for an appliance in this category. Originally bought when I still believed LG made quality products and stood behind them. I have since had experiences that shows otherwise.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement got noisy also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace this microwave because it got noisy, then eventually quit heating. So I took it back and replaced it with an identical LG microwave. This one worked fine for several months, then got noisy, vibrations. But it has continued to heat for several months. When it works it is a good microwave. Another thing I don't like about this unit is the small numbers on the buttons, and poor contrast. It is difficult to read the buttons, even with lights on in the kitchen. We have many other LG products that have been working flawlessly for years. Though if this microwave fails, I will replace it with another brand.

Keypad is not lighted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this microwave except that the keyypad is not backlit. It is very hard to see functions and numbers even in the daylight. I have to keep a mini flashlight to light it up to select the correct function and time.

I purchases this microwave in January of 2017. This is the easiest and I mean easiest microwave I have ever cleaned. No back corner seams make a world of difference for cleaning [especially when you are barely 5'). I wish this feature would have been available in 1975.
