Feature Packed, Brilliant Screen, Poor Reception

The LG G2 is a great device, almost... The G2 gives the consumer a lot of value for the dollar. The IPS screen is brilliant which can be easily viewed in sunlight. The G2 physical looks are dazzling and build quality appears excellent (very solid, no creaks or squeaks when held). The phone is extremely user customizable. Battery life is phenomenal and charging rate is lightning fast. The G2 is really thin and easily held in your hand. Processor speed is excellent. Sound quality is only average. Earpiece volume could be louder and richer. The bottom speaker is very tinny. Mic gain could be just a little louder. Auto-Brightness is buggy. The most important thing is very poor RF reception. In places other phones on the same tower can hold LTE, the G2 drops back to a weak 3G signal. Please fix this with a firmware update and I'll give it 5 stars. Other than that, you have a winner!

A Beast of a Phone

Pros:
I've had this phone for over a year and from my experiences so far, I can say this is definitely a phone for the power users out there. The phone's able to cut through most of the applications you can throw at it from the Google Play store; assuming those apps were well written by their respective software developers.
The default phone software LG has written for their users is useful; for example their Music app is wonderful at searching for music already on the phone; playing tracks by album, playlist, or selection. It is also utilitarian at times; for example, clearing space on the phone only allows you to remove content by folder, not necessarily by selecting the largest files found on the phone.
Cons:
One of the things that kept this phone from having a really good quality was the smaller contacts on the phone's back panel for the GPS. I've had issues with it acquiring signal and so have others it seems on the XDA forums; opening the back panel and pushing the contacts so they sit more upright corrected the problem. As a customer though, I shouldn't have to ever open up the phone, even if I do like it because I like fixing gear myself.
Despite these, I do recommend this product at this point in time primarily as a mid-range phone. as by the time people see this; this phone won't be as powerful as whatever hits the market later in 2015. It would be interesting to see an available upgrade to Android L(olipop) from the carriers or directly from LG themselves.

Less than A Month and Screne Broke with 3 FT Fall

I received this phone the week of 12/1. Phone is fast and has the power. I asked my wife to get me a Slim Armor case for Christmas, which I received. Put the case on and went to take a shower putting the phone on some shirts on the dresser. When I got back, the phone was on the Floor with a Cracked Face Plate. Unlike other phones, you are not able to use this one with cracked glass. Sending phone back to LG.

Superior to All Others

I was scared when LG came back into the spotlight, but man was I wrong! The LG G2 is HANDS DOWN!!!! the best Phone on the market. I have owned it for two months now and it just gets better. Friends and family have rid of their iPhones and Galaxy's just to have one and not ONE person regrets it! Thank you LG for showing what a usable, affordable, durable phone should be.

Great product, great features

I was leery about getting a phone without an SD card slot, or an easily replaceable battery. Both fears were removed by the performance and features of the G2. I have dumped tons of music and pictures on my phone, as well as programs and have not even come close to filling it up. As for battery life, I use this phone all day at work for calls, emails, even as a flashlight, and have not had any power issues. Great battery life.
The Snapdragon processor is lightening quick, the display is sharp and bright. I ride public transportation daily and watch on line movies that run smooth and without pause.
As an amateur photographer, I have taken lots of photos that have turned into wall art.
All in all, I could not have wanted a better, more powerful tool. Highly recommended to all my friends.

Great phone great specs BUT..

This phone is no doubt amazing until you hit glitches.
here are some that I encountered.
1. Touch screen had dead spots. replaced three phones in a row.
2. The phone died all of the sudden, sent for warranty repair.
3. Water gets in the phone easily as the buttons on the back expose it to water easily.
4. double tap feature is glitchy sometimes phone keeps thinking specially when reading documents.
5. You are basically without phone fro 15 days at least when the phone is out for warranty repair

LG G2 lemon

I must have bought the one G2 that is a lemon. I bought it in June 2014 and by October 2014 I was having all sorts of problems with the phone. While in the middle of a conversation, the person on the other end could no longer hear me. IT would take about 10 seconds and my voice would pop back in. I can't tell you how many callers hung up on me. I bought the LG tones headphones thinking the clarity would be better. Instead my callers were telling me that the line was full of static or that I seems to be in a hole with an echo. I am not happy with this phone at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got my first g2 in 2013 like other people got a lemon gps didnt work call quality was bad the knock on and proximity sensor had major issues so naturally got a new one said screw it against sprint and lg rooted it here it it april 2015 it is the best phone ive ever seen i run a g3 rom heavily tweaked. All of my issues the sprint or lg wouldnt or couldnt fix basicly have been ive hard bricked this phone sevral times and we have option to bring it back even with all the issues ive had good job lg im kinda proud. Show some love to the rooting comunity and ill like it even better. 3 sometimes 4 days worth of battery on heavy use. Also from another review do not drop get an otterbox and screen protecter if the screen even gets scratched bad enough itll quit worki g personally havent had it but many others have
