Makes washing fun!!

This is my first front loading washer. I have a very small space so my washer & dryer are stacked. I expected a clean wash but the machines perform queitly and effeciently. I am also pleased there is very little vibration and I have a raised foundation. I love the little musical sounds when the load is completed. I didn't expect the whole experience to be fun.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, fun to use

Pretty Good Machine-But.

Overall a pretty good washer. Does the job. But, CAUTION- these machine have a solenoid which injects the water abruptly and in many cases causes a water hammer.
So, be sure to have water hammer arresters installed if you you hear your pipes banging.
Once I had them installed, I was happy with the product.

Saves MEGA water and energy!

LOVE this machine! I am on a well in N. Calif in a drought. Old washing machine used at least 40 gal per load and didn't get clothes particularly clean. This machine uses a fraction of the water and the clothes come out really clean and very well spun- out so dry time is also reduced. Love the fact I can finally take a shower at the same time someone is doing the wash! AND we have more hot water! Only things I dislike are that it is a little noisy and maybe more vibrations when spin cycles start but the worst things are the grey letters/labels on the feature buttons which are impossible to read! Some designer really missed the mark there! If unreadable buttons are the only thing wrong with this machine, that's not too bad! The good definitly outweighs the bad!

3250 washer serious water hammer problem.

This washer was purchased to replace a 25 year old top loader. The washer works well enough but has some idiosyncrasies that are bothersome. I find the need to drain the pump and leave the door open to dry the tub a bit strange. Did however do somewhat the same thing with top loader. Need to drain the pump is not difficult for me to do but I can see difficulty for some elder persons trying to do this. The water hammer is a problem that should be resolved by engineering. The noise is objectionable and turning the water pressure down at the source does not resolve the problem . The washer should not be sold without the stands because you have to get down on your knees to drain the pump. Then some attention should be paid to stabilizing the installation to negate need to rebalance.
So some attention to details would make this a really fine machine. Just not one that I would purchase again.

Experienced Loud Water Hammering

The washing machine is very nice; it replaced LG front loader.
We bought this house in 1971 so have had several washing machines. This is the first one that experienced water hammering. I was able to minimize the noise by almost turning off the water supply, both hot and cold.
I think the washing machine should have had water pressure reducing devices installed at the factory.

Great features=clean clothes

I bought this washer in March and have been appreciating the new features like steam wash. I have been able to remove stains from clothes that my old washer left behind. It is also very quiet compared to my old washer

I have seen several different washers at friends houses when i was looking. None of them caught my heart!! When i saw this one at the store i went home and did my research. So glad i did it's the best washer every household needs. I have used every cycle and love it.

The washer holds a lot of laundry - keep in mind if you have pets that shed, you will be wiping the rubber seal around the opening to remove the excess hair. I leave the door open to dry after I am finished using so it doesn't develop any mildew. So far so good.
