Best Washer Ever Owned

My wife loves it and we have had a lot of washers in our 47 years of marriage. She loves the multitude of features, the beautiful unique red color and the great deal on price for the washer and dryer pair. She also loves the drawers in the pedestals we bought with them. These are great for storage of laundry and cleaning products and allows her to use washer and dryer with no bending over. The washer does an exceptional job cleaning the clothes as well. I would highly recommend the washer and dryer pair along with two pedestals to anyone. Well worth the investment.

Overall, I like the look and features of this washer (and matching dryer) I have only had it 1.5 months so if there are problems I don't know. One big complaint, it makes loud clunking noises in the beginning of the wash cycle. We had a technician out and he basically said that is what it does. Clunk, turn clunk. We can hear it up stairs. Clothes come clean, really spins well. Just NOT impressed with the noise. In retrospect, might have spent more and gotten a non plastic door too.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had an LG before and was ready to toss it out the door had moldy smell as well as danced around the floor when in spin cycle. Had to stand between wall and washer so it would not. LG repair suggested I leave washer door ope ( washer was by guest bathroom. (am I supposed to have someone close and open washer door each time they go to the bathroom? Hello
Ok let salesman talk me into this LG front load out of balance still there just not as bad and you have corrected the door open it now cn be left ajar.
Kind a wish would have given another front load a try HOWEVER love the dryer

I like it because it is push button not dial operated. It reminds me of living on a space ship when the machine senses the load. LG is cool and sexy for a machine, but since it is only a machine and not a lovely woman, I cannot rate it higher than 3 stars. No machine can every come close to God's own creations though this one can fool the mind into thinking so at times.

Clothes are cleaner even with increased load and a fraction of the water. Cycle options are self explanatory and easy to use. Even towels come out with very little excess water making drying time much faster.

Very quiet with very little vibration compared to my old washer. Also uses less water and doesn't tie my clothes in knots like the old washer did, which was one reason for getting rid of it. The only thing I'm not sure about is the detergent dispenser. The drawer seems a little flimsy. And, the chrome ring around the door does leave fingerprints easily, but that's just being picky.
