Great Performance

This is the first time I've had a front loader. So I decided to do some research on this brand. My daughter in law has one, said it was a good quality washer. So I read the reviews and looked around other washers with not so good reviews. LG came up with the best for the price. So I've had it now for about 2 weeks. I LOVE IT. So quiet, easy to use. And a great water saver (compared to my old washer which used over 40 gallons of water every time you did a load of wash.) So far so good. Cleans so well. Very impressive.

This is the best washing machine I've ever had. It is user friendly, beautiful to look at, and best of all, it cleans our clothes better than any washer we've ever had. I was going to buy a new dog bed for our dog because it just didn't seem to be coming clean any more. I took one final step before doing so. I washed it on the Allergen setting. It came out like new....no residue smell of dog or dander. I had been a loyal customer of another brand, but after a bad experience with our last washing machine (our 3rd), I asked the repair man which brand he owned and which he had seen as having the fewest repairs and problems over his many years of repair work. He recommended LG. He certainly steered us in the right direction!

Great Product

We were long over due for a new machine. I did lots of research and found a good deal at my local home improvement store. You do need to drain the wash basin every two weeks. This is super simple. It takes me about two minutes. I haven't noticed any leaks or bad odors. Very happy with my LG.

This product has been a nightmare.

I have had nothing but problems after the 4th month.
Every time I wash towels, rugs, blankets or anything heavy I get soap and water on the floor.behind the machine. Now after each load I have to empty the water in the front of the machine. This should be done once a month and I am doing it after every load. I get two big bowls of water. Repairman has been out 4 times and cannot find a problem.

Fantastic Tech in the Laundry Room

I have the washer and dryer that are both front loaders. They are simply amazing. I have never had this many choices on how I wash and dry my clothes.
I like the way I can choose so many different settings to fit exactly what I am trying to do. I can even steam clean my clothes.
I highly recommend this set to everyone.

Great But.....

I do love this LG washing machine. I love that it has a large capacity, is basically quiet, does the job, is easy to load. Where I think the designers failed is with the drainage pump located at the bottom of the machine. The drainage tube is too short. It does not pass beyond the door to the little compartment making it hard to empty the water into a container, and the filter was hard to remove to check it. I had to use a wrench to open it. When I put the filter back, I did not realize that I needed to make it very tight to avoid water on my floor. I hope that with their next version of this machine, LG will lengthen the drainage tube. If this is the situation with other washing machines, they should consider fixing the feature in the other models as well.

One of the best

We had this washer now for over 3 months. Quite frankly this is one of the best washers we ever had. The temperature cycles are spot on, the dials etc are intuitive and easy to select and the hot cycle is a hot cycle. For the price we paid for this machine you will not be finding a better one. Ahhh well, I almost forgot, the washing comes out super clean, which is kind of important in washing machine.
