Great Washer

This was our first purchase of a front loader and we were hesitant. After using it twice per week for the last 3 months we are very pleased. The washer is super quiet even on the spin cycle. With heavy clothes set on the extra high spin speed understandably is some vibration but nothing excessive. This machine handles our clothes gently and does a good job cleaning them. I especially love the Allergiene (reduce allergens) cycle and the Sanitary (reduce bacteria) cycle. This washer offers a large tub and the options of an extra rinse cycle, the option of adding extra water to the wash/rinse cycle, and the option of adding steam for optimal cleaning without damaging clothes. My only complaint is that I wish there was more contrast to the print on the options buttons. Overall this is a great front load washer. It does what we want: cleans and sanitizes our clothes gently yet throughly while being cost efficient by using less water. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this front load washer to anyone.

Love It. Great for a Big Family

We have 4 kids and a dog. This machine is amazing and does a great job on the clothes and deals with the dog hair very well. The ability to clean out the filter is great and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

My first front load machine and I am very impressed. I use less detergent than I ever have and my clothing is clean. The only noise I notice is the noise of water being forcefully drawn into the washer through the pipes at the onset of the washing process. The rest of the cycle is very quiet. My clothing is clean. I use the extra rinse. My dryer time is much shorter because of the great spin cycle and so far I have not needed the fast spin. I wish LG sold in my model a door that opens toward the right. I have a small condo closet. It allows me to have both washer and dryer on the left as I walk into this narrow room. But the only place for my washer is just beyond the dryer because the recessed pan is nestled into the flooring there to catch water before it would drip through to a neighbor below. I walk past the dryer to the washer. Opening the washer door traps me against the end wall and the right wall of the tiny room with no tushy-bend space, or I must load and empty reaching over the open door. It is comical, but I make it work. It's worth it.

Washer and Dryer work very well .Just have one issue with the dryer Had to replace the whole front door because it came with a crack in the rubber seal ring so the rubber gasket on the door fell half off The warranty covers this repair .Otherwise very satified with the appliances as a whole !!

Best washer we have ever owned

We replaced another brand washer after just 3 years, not because it broke, but because it didn't clean the clothes well and was just too loud. This front loader cleans the clothes very well. It has been quite noticeable. In addition, it is quiet and doesn't shake the whole house. The only minor issue was that we bought a washer/dryer matched pair (both white) and they didn't quite match. That is to say they were not the same color white and since they sit next to each other it is noticeable! But we are quite happy with our purchase in any event.

This is my second LG Steam Washer and I am now and will always be a fan of these units. I purchased washer as part of a stacking unit with the steam dryer unit. They have a wonderful variety of features. The LG company has included all of the necessary options for helping to make laundry day much less tedious.
