Bad odor/mildew smell

So many bad things about this washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this THING for almost 3 years and I DO NOT like it! Not always but often, I have to babysit it until a load is complete because it often becomes off balance and will quit due to the load being too heavy, even if it isn't. The water doesn't always drain out and I will have to ring the clothes out before throwing them in the dryer. About 3-5 times a month, water will just seep out of the bottom somewhere and my husband and I can't find out where it is actually coming from. The detergent tray gets very gross, gunked up and mildews so bad that it is difficult to pull the tray out...I clean it once a month. I honestly prefer top loads after having this pain in the rear for the past three years .

Sudden water stop causing pipe rattling

I bought this washer about 6 years ago when we moved into the new house with new pipe This washer gave us a lot of trouble in the pipe system. The washer valve closes too fast and causes an annoying knocking noise in the pipes. We spent a lot of time and money trying to fix this water hammer issue and but we still have pipe rattling issue. I think we will replace it with a top load washer to see if issue can be solved.

I loved this product. The warranty is supposed to be 10 years but when it needed repair after only six years, the repair price was about half its cost. I feel like it should have lasted longer given the price we paid for it.
