GOOD PRODUCT BUT

The product seems fine and fast of a daily scan. My problem is with their autorenewal program. I already talked to them to stop the autorenewal, they did, and this year it is back again. Very frustrating.

Wi-Fi Security

I have your suite of webroot SecureAnywhere and Wi-Fi Security, but the Wi-Fi security portion seems to have issues.
I can never connect to the USA West Server.. it just does not connect and spins forever... this occurs for both Windows PC and Android phone and tablet. Some of the other locations do not connect also, especially on the Android devices.
Also, it's very annoying... for some reason the Android devices seem to disconnect on their own, from the chosen or selected location server, so when you tap your browser to pull up or whatever you want to connect to, the connection cannot be made, as the server location you selected has now dropped off or stopped and your access to the internet is now locked, until you do a work-around to get it working again.... only to discover it has dropped again and again, etc.

Not Worth The Grief

Distressed with Malewarebytes about auto renewal I took it off my 6 machines. I had to cancel my CC as I couldn't stop them from auto-billing. Researching a quality replacement led me to WEBROOT; excellent reviews and comments. Shame on me for not paying attention, but I'm stuck in the auto-renew black hole again using WEBROOT. AV companies must attend the same seminars on how to abuse customers. I tried to turn it off, but, why should I have to. I've seen their comments, they're making sure I don't go without protection. I'm confident that's not their primary motivation.

For the first time I am disappointed with it

I both a copy of this product Internet secure anywhere for my MacBook Pro, I have used the same product for years on different MacBook I had. After an update on my laptop last week, I am now using Mac OS Big Sur, all of the sudden, Webroot is not working anymore , I am getting this update message every time I want a scan or each time I open my account window: "Product update available... a newer version of this product is available, update now". When I click on update, there is nothing and I have tried more than 10 times already. My laptop is not protected and I still have about 693 days of protection yet there is none..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using Webroot since my system was hacked and it does fairly well BUT some of the features are lacking. ie: when it tells me that certain features are not performing well it gives NO definative information like telling me my memory is running low (on a 32MB machine) but offers no idea of what is causing the problem. Or telling me there are upgrades to be installed, but not telling me what they are. I like the program but features like these need to be upgraded, especially for us that are not IT Specialists .....

Can it be more difficult to find out how to opt out of auto renewals? There is nowhere to call either for support. I don't like the way you can not immediately tell which computers are on which license. When you try and match it up by details like Last Scan or Scan Duration, absolutely nothing matches. Is your computer even protected? Who knows.

i do not want this option as I can buy it cheaper all the time when I shop around. I may not even want to keep the same plans etc. I try to not keep auto renew but every year it stays that way with my personal info and constantly have to complain. I want to choose myself each year not them
