Best protection using the least overhead...

I have used this software on several PC computers for several years and it's the best protection I have ever had. It has protected me from many attacks on my PC.
The resources it uses on the PC are very low.
I know because I have tried many products over the years and they ALL took Too Much CPU and Disk I/O to protect the PC.
Except for this product.

I routinely have it Manually Scan folders on my PC to exercise my PC while I have dinner or watch TV.
I feel no degradation while using my PC even when doing a Manual Scan of Folders while I am using the PC!
I am a retired Quality Assurance Software Engineer and have recommended this product to many people over the years and never had anyone tell me the did not love it!

I have been using Webroot software for many years now on all types of hardware laptop, desk top pc, tablets, and phones, it works on them all.
The software just take few minutes to setup, download the software from webroot webpage, install the software, input licence key , run scan,
if any threats are found webroot will help you clean your system up.

The good thing about Webroot software the scan only takes a few minutes and it does not slow down your system when running in the background , you can also run it alongside other malware software too...
All it takes is Three Clicks Open, Run, Close. job done.

Happy I switched

We had Kaspersky for several years. It worked fined but slowed our pc's down, and the price krpt going up. Webroot does NOT slow you down and takes car of everything. Highly reccomend.

Provides Peace of Mind... (for the most part)

Seems to be a competent program, but does occasionally give false positives and prevents some downloads that are actually safe seemingly without the ability to override. No choices to contain, delete, or ok whatever it finds and removes. It is fast and doesn't overload system resources, but could be more user intuitive and friendly...

I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with false-positives. You do have the capability of whitelisting certain files, websites.
