The best virus protection, in my opinion.

This is great virus protection and on top of that, it's lightweight, fast and unobtrusive. Virus protection should do it's job, but not at the sake of slowing down your whole system. I use this on all my devices, including getting special permission to use this on my work computer, instead of the corporate supplied virus protection. I trust it completely and it hasn't failed me yet. The only negative is I have a slight sore spot with renewals. As a loyal customer for years, you'd think when renewal comes up, I'd be given the best deal possible, instead I shop around and always find better offers than what is given to returning customers. That bugs me a little bit.

Almost there...

It has been a reliable software for the last 1+ year, but it failed to remove a stubborn MKV file that doesn't go away via Permanently Erase function. I would like to see that fix.

Really great PC protection

I have had Webroot for several years, and I feel that I have great protection on my computers from the threats to electronic devices that are so prevalent in today's world. I am grateful to have Webroot and their knowledgeable technicians in my corner.

Safe & Secure

So far so good. My computer hasn't been infected with any viruses (or malware, etc.), even when I visit sketchy websites. Webroot is always on alert, of any possible danger, while operating silently in the background.

I'm glad to hear you've been safer since using Webroot! Please keep in mind that you should still exercise caution when it comes to visiting sketchy URL's! Webroot is very effective at blocking malicious websites and stopping malware but your online behavior is still a crucial part of staying safe.

Fast scans on Windows

Webroot is very quick to scan for viruses in Windows. It is very slow on Mac but then I haven't seen any antivirus software which is fast on Mac. The online management tools are clumsy. I can see all the pcs I have protected but I can't see which licence key I used for each or when they expire without going into each on individually. When I buy a new licence, once it added on to existing licence but usually it starts from purchase date making it pointless to purchase before previous expiry. New purchases are much cheaper than renewals. I get way too many renewal reminders in the months leading up to the end of the licence. I am thinking of just using Windows Defender so I can avoid the renewal reminders.

I'm glad that you're -mostly- having a good experience with Webroot. I think you have some really good feedback here regarding the renewal process. One thing you can do is purchase the license whenever you want and then wait to activate it. The new license doesn't start counting down until you put it into your account section of the Webroot console. Hope that helps!

Works great as advertised

The best part about Webroot is that it works perfectly on my Windows Vista, Win-7, Win-8.1 and Win-10. I still mostly use Win-vista as I have less trouble with it and it has Win-Mail which does not come with Win-7 or Win-10. When surfing web sites, RED is bad, GREEN is safe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had Webroot for several years now. One year I could add on my phones. I could not do it no matter what I tried. It was so frustrating.
