I was a victim of theft on my computer. My neighbor told me about WebRoot and I couldn't be happier. Had Norton 360 and they didn't stop the hackers. So over them. Recommend WR to everyone.

I have been working a week to get my backup working every time I want to do a backup it takes me forever and it has been for a long time and I'm about ready to drop weibroot even though I just signed up for another year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought Webroot as experiment to replace Norton AV which is getting pricey. Good ratings and good price were the keys to purchase. But warn buyers to read the fine print! I bought multiple device package for laptops & phones only to find out the package I purchased does not cover phones. I would have had to purchase a $15 upgrade for that. I was disappointed but it was my mistake. Other than that, simple purchase and installation procedure, good product.

The price was great and updating all 5 pc's was simple. So far since owning web root I have not had even q issue with virus, or malware and very little crazy pop-ups like you get with free anti-virus programs.
