After renewing my account for another year, I still get popups that I need to renew. Additionally, when I try to access the control panel, it just hangs on the Loading screen

Decent Product Let Down By Automatic Renewal
on February 12, 2018
Posted by: andynes
As above but let down by automatically renewing before license ran out and I know I could of got it at a better price elsewhere
Response from webroot.comBy Lara - Webroot Community Support Team, Online, April 4, 2018
Auto-renewal can always be disabled via the website, and the inclusion of auto-renewal is mentioned both during the transaction process, and on the invoice after the transaction. If you would like to have the auto-renewal charge reversed, you can do so within 70 days of the transaction. Looks like you have until mid April to call in and get this adjusted if you wish, and you can do so by calling this number: 1-866-350-6089.

More false alerts than Kaspersky :/
on March 12, 2018
Posted by: Andy
I bought this because it was suppose to be faster, small and less intrusive than other products. I am using it on Mac and it’s popping up a lot about key core things like Adobe cloud or Rappore Trusteer a key internet banking authenticator that all UK banks recommend. Had none of these issues and zero alerts about nothing when I was on Kaspersky, disappointed and thinking I should have stuck with what I had.

Not so hot

I've had webroot about one month. Last week I got a ransomware in the middle of reading a news feed from Fox news. I had to shutdown and reboot. When I did some of my files had been rearranged. I'm not impressed so far.

Performance on Mac lacking
on September 25, 2018
Posted by: timcu
I am amazed how quickly webroot can scan files on Windows with no noticeable performance penalty on other running programs. Sadly this is not true on macOS where I frequently have to disable webroot to stop my applications slowing to a crawl.
