I have been subscribing to webroot for a while now and I find their product effective but the way they attempt to get renewals is very manipulative. They automatically set the account to renew and the price for renewal is 79.99 as opposed to the online price for subscription which is 29.99! Every year they say that they are having special prices for subscription and every year they have the same thing. While they are still assigning automatic renewals at 79.99. And someone who doesn’t know any better probably just allows the renewal to go through. Super manipulative and deceptive!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They wont cancel the service. Even after you dig through all the steps to cancel they will keep charging your account for the annual renewal every year. They wont ever let you go. Steer clear

Horrible - renewal process primitive & Stoneage feeling, when doing renewal. They need to look into this matter very urgently, make purchases simple.
