NO LONGER WANT THIS!

I purchased this many years ago and never had a problem....I renewed this and it was supposed to be for 15 months now they have no record of it, but want to renew again!! I am still under coverage until March of 2024. They plan to use my credit card number and do it !!! They WILL be stopped......stay away from Webroot!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had no problem loading it on my desktop! Tried several times to load it on my phone and tablet, no success!

Some malware/virus/spam still gets thru while surfing the net.

Every now and then a pop-p will appear saying my computer is infected with a virus and to call a specific number to have my computer cleaned. It cannot be deleted from the page and just locks everything up. I simply restart the computer and then do a Webroot scan. No viruses have been detected. If it's a scam, which I suspect it is, I don't know how to get rid of it or have it blocked.

I was tired with the Bloated (and Expensive!) Norton AV products and when my renewal came up decided to research the current AV offerings and based on both expert & user reviews decided to give Webroot a try. Cost-Wise it's less than 1/2 the price of the big brand AV systems but it actually provides better protection according to independent reports and does it much more efficiently. I works seamlessly in the background and I can protect all my devices (up to 5) desktop, laptop, Smartphones, etc. I'm sold on Webroot!

Renewal of Webroot internet security

The software is fine, does an, to my poor knowledge, efficient job in the background.
But the renewal process is definitely not OK. The alerts and e-mails telling me that it is time for renewal are fine, but they all link to a renewal offer, that turns out to be the most expensive “offer” on your site. This is no way to try to trick a customer. All to smooth and all too well planned.
The only way to get a god renewal offer seems to let your old license run out, and buy a new one elsewhere on your website.
But the renewal process is definitely not OK.
