Good performance for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easily one of the best older model smartphones that may be purchased that performs as well as the new models. Reliable with a good camera, and 32 g. memory. Downsides: A bit slow on boot up and lacks an F/M radio
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Best Smartphone Ever!

I bought this device a month ago, and so far, despite being a two year old phone, it's great! The phone performs very well, very fast, and almost never slows down, the battery is very long, and the camera is just outstanding compared to my Galaxy S3. The screen is big and sharp, and is very comfortable to hold. The performance got even better today as Verizon pushed out an update to it, with bug fixes and RAM managment solved, and is blazing fast. The only thing that I want to see is Android Marshmallow, because this device certainly has the guts to run it. Other than that, I would recommend this phone to anyone!
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My LG G2 Verizon is a great phone. I have had many brands with various bells and whistles but NONE are as good as this. The G2 is STILL competative with all the latest "Big boy" models.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

This is the greatest phone ever. I switched from the s4 to the lg g2, needless to say best decision ever. It is fast, has a great design, the battery life!!! Why are you still reading this? Just get this incredible phone. Now. This phone will do EVERYTHING that you need it to do. It'll even turn into a robot to protect your cereal and destroy monsters (no it won't). Get it.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Features/Settings, Quality, battery life!!!!!!!!!!!

Problems with LG VS980 4G
on July 26, 2014

Ever since I got the 4G I have been annoyed by the battery. It takes forever to charge; in use, it sits at 100% for a while, then once it starts to decrease, it goes down fast even without direct usage. I was using it as a GPS in the car, plugged in, but it still lost charge until I turned it off. - That is totally different from the iPhone, which charges when plugged into the car's power even while in use. - Pain!!! - Also, the touch screen does not always respond.

Intuitive and user friendly

I just recently switched from a Galaxy to the LG G2 - I am not very tech savvy so the thought of trying a new or different phone was a bit intimidating. This phone works great and the features are awesome - I can operate my entire cyber world with this phone and it is so easy to do - the features are very intuitive and easy to figure out (I have not had to ask my kids for help at all!) Plus the screen colors are bright and vibrant - it is just the right size for my needs. Even the camera is decent for a cell phone. I am glad I chose this phone over the I-phone

Use for a year before writing a review
on July 14, 2015

So many people get a new product, use it for a few days and then write a review. First impressions of this phone are good but after living with it for a while you discover the shortcomings, among them a very short battery life after a few months, recalcitrant screens that do what they want to do, poor screen response: tap, tap, tap until something happens. Phone manufacturers should concentrate on making products better and longer lasting rather than adding on more bells and whistles to attract the curious.

Great Product - Stopped Working
on August 6, 2015

For the first two months I owned this phone performance was great. Phone reception is great. I live in a rural area and had very few dropped calls. Camera takes great pictures, screen is bright and colors good.
After two months the double tap to wake and put to sleep quit working, a month later I could not pull down the the notifications, then the top inch of the screen became none responsive. Last week the whole screen became unresponsive for a while then it became spastic, jumping to random apps. The phone is now unuseable.
As an aside, pulled sim and put it my N4, another LG product, which the G2 replaced. That phone died while listening to a podcast yesterday.
I have bought my last LG product.
