not built to last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these phones 1 and a half years ago. For 6 months the phones have not been able to charge from the original charger that came with the phone. Slowly charges with new cords or simply will not charge with the message, "Charging has stopped to prevent damage to phone. To continue charging phone connect the phone to its original USB cable and charger provided." The only way to charge the phone is through the USB cord connected to the computer.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ABSOLUTE FAIL

This is the absolute worst phone I have ever owned. Last night I tried charging it over night and today it is at 8% battery capacity. Everything about this phone failed with the new software update. It now cannot send or receive texts/calls. I have tried hard resetting the phone but it continues to fail. Also you can watch as the battery power ticks away. About every minute the battery life goes down 1%. 0/10 I will never purchase another LG product ever again.

I've had the phone since october, the battery now only lasts 2 hours (good job LG) this is the last lg product i will own or use!
Pros: Quality, not in it for the long haul!

Huge let down

The phone takes forever to charge, always sounds muffled when listening to a conversation. I don't think the phone battery last long if you use it at all. If it just sits w/o use it last days.

this is seriously the worst phone ive ever! i just want my iphone back! i dont get notifications in my lock screen, people with iphones can no longer text me, its way too big for one handed operation, i cant send pictures because they do not go through and there is not one thing i like better than an iphone except the battery life. thats all this phone has going for it. but now im stuck with it for 2 years unless someone wants to sell me a 5c for cheap!

Horrible battery!

When I buy a new phone I really do my research. It had come down to the Samsung galaxy s5 or three g2. I ended up choosing the lg g2 because it gave me good reviews on its battery life. I love LG and have many products from them,but I will never but another LG product again. If my WiFi is on my phone dies after being on and in use for about 3 hours. It over heats and slow down. I expected more from LG. If my data is on its ok and won't kill so much battery, but I don't want my data on at all times. I thought maybe I just got a bad phone but I accidentally washed my first one so Verizon gave me a new LG G2, and it still does the same thing!

Torn about this phone

I bought this phone about a year ago because my Galaxy was stolen. Anyway, I liked the way the phone looked so I thought I would give it a try. The good: I get a lot of compliments on this phone. A lot of people love the way it looks and so do I. It's definitely a good looking phone. I like all the features, cameras etc. I also like the big screen and that it's light weight.
The bad: After having the phone for nearly a year it started to act up. The double tap to wake up the phone stopped working; I would have to tap several times before it woke up. The power button also stopped locking the phone and my phone was super super super slow. It was annoying. The other thing I really don't like (and probably why I won't ever buy an LG phone again) is how easy the freaking thing breaks. I've had to replace this phone two times because the front screen completely shattered, it looked like a car had run over the phone and all I did was accidentally drop it on the ground. This has never happened with other phones I've had. I try to be careful with my phone but in each instance I dropped the entire front screen was completely destroyed. I really hate that about the phone and I honestly can't wait until I'm available for an upgrade and I can go back to the Galaxy.
