Le me watching tv, guy who gets shot gets ressuscitated by some sort of future tech, jumps up and stabs/kills the doctor who was trying to save his life. I yell at the TV "Hey! That wasn't very nice!" like I'm scolding a small child. Yeah Stace, that's totally gonna work XD

Pretty Fast phone, missing key components

I bought this phone due to its high ratings and long battery life as well as one of the fastest processors out there. It is overall a pretty good phone, however it is unable to perform a very important and simple task. Any group MMS threads that are sent to the phone come as individual messages, not a group text. Although you can text multiple people, when they respond you will get each text individually. Even though the messages are not threaded, the phone uses data to download them. For such a new phone to not have the ability to do this blows my mind and make me very upset. LG says that you can use the "Google Hangouts" app in lieu of the "Messages" app to text and then you will be able to get threads, but why is this necessary? It is incredibly inconvenient, does not work as well as the stock messaging app, and make you get involved in yet ANOTHER Google scheme. LG, please do an update to allow these phones to receive and participate in group texting.
Also, several times a day while typing a message, the phone quits out and goes to the home screen for no reason.
Pros: disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like my G2. it's lightning fast, and gets decent reception.
some earlier posts mentioned GPS issues, but I haven't experienced them.
my battery life is decent, but heavy WiFi use takes its toll.
the camera software is a little deficient, specificallyin lower light levels. really slow to focus, weird color saturation. I'm willing to admit it could be operator error, buteven then, the auto settings should alleviate the problems.
overall, I really like the phone and I'm glad I picked it over the G4

The G2 is a great phone that I have waited a long time to purchase. It has a lot of great features and the knock on feature is very handy. The only issue I have is the smart viewing features when reading or watching videos on the G2 not working.
I would recommend this to a friend!
