Its a keeper

So far nothing has disappointed me about my G2. I received it in April and it has done nothing but perform. It feels good in the hand, survived a few drop tests without a cover, has a good display, and plenty of features. The sound is good as far as phones go and the camera is superb.
I wouldn't change a thing about it, not sure what they could improve when they made the G3.

A really great phone which I enjoy using

I spent a lot of time deciding which phone to get and I am very happy with my choice. The overall quality is excellent. It feels great in your hand, the screen is sharp and clear. I especially enjoy the knock on/off and Path Input features and that the screen brightness is very high. The camera takes great pictures and the battery life is very good. I would highly recommend this phone.

Great Smartphone

This is my first cellphone. First smartphone. I am 51 years old and didn't think I needed a smartphone. Was I ever wrong!

Hard to beat

I admittedly hadn't heard much about the G2 when I decided on a new phone for myself and my gf. However, once I started looking online, I found reviews and specs that quite surprised me. I went into the store, played with it for a moment, and said yup, sold.
The phone has a nicely sized screen without feeling too big, it's still very light as well. The buttons on the back for controls is such a difference, but it's so easy to adjust to, you'll wonder why no one ever thought of it before. Other features like Knock-On, are just so great to have, and it's refreshing.
The phone simply flies with it's power. I normally don't load many apps, but with as smoothly as it runs everything I've thrown at it, I don't even give it a second thought.
Camera has been great. It's still a phone camera, so people expecting to pull it out while running down a rocky path, and taking a picture of an eagle in a dive with no blur, well it ain't happening. But taking a moment to focus and snap, the camera does wonderfully. And with the OIS, it DOES help with camera shake a little more than an average phone camera will.
And then there's the battery life. Holy smokes! A full day+ with actual use, and no charger needed mid-day? In a phone this light, with no extra bulk for an extended battery, it's incredible.
To date, I haven't found anything to complain about, not once. Putting it up against any current devices, I'd have no qualms about taking the G2 every time.

Phone quickly replaced

Had issues from the start with the knock-on feature, connecting USB, and early on phone restarted and just kept flashing not allowing me to do anything. Called LG support and had to reset to factory settings to recover and start personalizing all over again. Still the knock-on feature was frustrating only allowing me to enter the first character of my security pin and then going black screen. Had to retry usually 4-5 times before my entire pin was accepted and gain access to my phone. It appears the replacement LG-G2 is working as it should thus far this first day.

Great smartphone

I used to own a Samsung Fascinate and wanted a change. It was a toss up between the LG G2 and the Samsung Galaxy S4. The LG G2 is an excellent product and has many great features. I really enjoy the large 5.2 inch screen and Qslide feature. It lets you multi-task without having to close what you are currently using to check something else, such as using a calculator while using your banking app. Downsides to this phone are the inability to add more memory via a micro SD card and and the not so durable (and and very scratchable) plastic back to the phone. It should be made out of something more hefty so you don't have to go out and buy a phone case. Also the battery is sealed inside, so no replacing batteries or removing it to reboot phone in case the phones OS freezes (this hasn't happened to me so far). I highly recommend the LG G2 to anyone looking to upgrade.
