My first smart phone and its everything I expected

I am extremely satisfied with this phone. Beautiful display, very fast at loading apps and software, no call issues and the camera is awesome. A bit large to carry around but otterbox case for Verizon phone is a great addition.

I did two weeks of intense research before buying and this is the best thing available. The value is great, I feel lucky that LG is trying to gain market share by making an awesome device and practically giving it away. I everythong about it that was in LGs control. I would like to give some constructive advice. 1st KITKAT UPDATE SOON IN US so the carriers get moving pushing theres out. I need it so google wallet works on vzw because it includes hce 4 nfc. It also supports opengl es 3.0. And more low level efficiency tweaks. I thought since you made the nexus5 on g2 skeleton g2 would get kitkat quick. Im praying vzw doesnt hold it up. Another thing, inmy early research I was led to believe it had an fm recoever and app when headphones plugged in. I was upset that it is only the global variant and vzw does not include it. I guess having built in wireless charging is the trade. I hope LG can get enough market share to keep the carriers from forcing changes in their devices. I love my Quickwindow case but would like a few more things to make use of it, like the flashlight widget ,maybe let the community develop widgets. I like lgs software wwith basic skin which was a suprise. I normally ditch anything manufacturers put on my computers i just hope they keep it up to date. I love the builtin translate app but wish it had option to use google translates dictionaries. And i like voicemate but would like the option to use google instead of maluuba. If it skinned googles functions id use it more. Instead ive found myself wishing i could switch its place on the swipe up launch menu because if you use google voice search google fills that need. I thought Id miss sdcard but am ok without it though id like to see it on g3. I am kind of sad to think my phone wont be king of the hill when the g3 comes out though it is definitely future proof. Im hoping to find away to get one but wont ne eligible with contract grom vzw for 2 years. But at any rate thid phone is a rocket, i have loaded it up with apps turned all options on and cant slow it down, its a beast with awesome camera, design, display, and software skin even. Thanks LG. Im waiting as patiently as possible for kitkat update push and quickwindow sdk on your lg dev site.

I love the ease of use. The battery life is great, I can use yhe hot spot all day at work and still have enough battery life to play games, send emails, look on facebook and send messages with out it going dead until about 11 at night. The speed of the phone is unreal, a lot better than my last phone. Over all I love it!

Powerful and Long-lasting

This smartphone has a powerful processor to keep all your applications running smoothly. Its long-lasting 3000maH battery keeps your phone charged so you can use it all day without recharging. The only things I wish it had were a removable microSD card slot and Kit Kat. Unequivocally recommend it as a best buy!

Great phone

This phone is fast as has tons of features. Battery last ME through the entire day with moderate use. The screen is bright and very clear although, it scratches extremely easily. The controls, being on the back, take some getting used to and are a pain to use with the camera app but are otherwise, functional and well thought out. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone looking for a powerful, we'll designed phone. The size is just about perfect, although, with the edge to edge displays, the phone feels smaller than it is.

Great phone but could use some feature adjustments

Overall great phone. Lacks any outputs other than headphone jack. Works excellent with my Bluetooth speaker. Does not support all video playback from the web and definitely does not support Amaz0n Prime video playback. The speaker is collocated with the microphone so speakerphone is not optimal nor is it very loud. HDMI output would be nice or Widi. Great resolution. Phone is designed to stay together, no pulling it apart for battery access or loading sim card. Battery is integrated anyway so you couldnt take it out. That's nice until a drink gets spilled all over it. and you need to dry it out. :( This is way better than my last smart phone and it was "cutting edge" at the time. The "knock" function to wake up works most of the time. I actually find my self knocking on my wife's phone every now and then so it is definitely a feature you get used to. I usually have to charge it every night. I don't use the phone feature much. It is probably the games that I am playing that are the major battery drain. The GPS seems to work pretty well.

First, I'd like to definitely recommend protecting your purchase with a rugged case.
The functionality of this phone is great! My phone is loaded with apps and has yet to run out of memory. The battery power is unsurpassed. I use Evernote a lot and this phone will record meetings lasting well over an hour and still make calls and run the apps I need. However, it will need to charge by the end of the day. (I can also recommend the LG wireless charger. I have a rugged case, and it will charge without having to remove it). The recordings are also pretty good. Playback actually allows me to hear the message. The buttons on the back take a little getting used to, but are not a major problem.

My honest review of this product, it deserved better sales. This phone is AMAZING. By far the best android phone I have ever owned. The back buttons are a little hard to get used to, but once you've had the phone for a few days it almost feels more natural than the side buttons I was used too. Not to mention with the best feature I have ever seen in a smartphone (knock on/off) you hardly use the power button! The Q-slide functions on the phone bring multitasking to a whole new level. The themed home layout gives the user the ability to customize without any effort. Oh, and the screen is GORGEOUS!! I can't say enough about this phone, and will be looking at LG for future devices first from now on. If you are looking to buy a new device, do yourself a favor. Clear your head of the billion dollar ads you've seen, and compare this to any phone at your provider before you buy. I think you'll find yourself walking out with LG!
