Upgraded from the iPhone 4s and never looked back. It's been over 3 months and I am still finding features hidden in this phone that make using it easier.

This is by far the best Android phone I have owned. The features are great, so many camera options and settings to play with, on board apps are great, volume on the back and the knock on/off screen is great and easy.

Have had the G2 for over 4 months now, and have yet to see any other phone available male me regret the choice. I've been an Android user since the original Droid 855. Also had Droid X2 and Galaxy Nexus. Android and LG have come a long way since those.
Outstanding features: Beautiful display, fast processor, a battery that won't quit. Knock on/off, nice. A big, responsive screen in a slim form that still easily fits in my pocket. Almost nothing slows this beast down. No problem updating apps while surfing or checking email. I'm not one for playing many games, usually use the device for more practical pursuits. Works flawlessly with a Moto bluetooth earpiece as well as LG's bluetooth stereo headset.
Battery life for me typically is 3 full days of regular use. This would include an hour or so of phone time and 3 hours plus of screen time. This usage still has 25-35% showing on the battery when I recharge. Absolutely the best feature of this phone. I've gone 5 days with 30 minutes talk, 2.5 hours screen, all on 4G, no wifi, battery at 19% when plugged in. AMAZING.
And the performance is first rate. When I pick up another family member's S4, or Razr, there is just no contest. The G2 smokes them all.
Cons, if any, you've probably heard already. A really slick and slippery back is the worst fault, but I fixed that easily with a TPU slim case that adds almost no bulk, but adds that extra little "gription". The LG launcher is still better than TouchWiz, but Nova really works better for me. I think for the average user, the stock settings and launchers will serve all your needs easily and handily. The back buttons take about a week or 2 to get used to, then no problem. Plus there's that great Knock on feature so you really don't use the buttons much anyway.
In summary, great phone, great value. After 4 months, I'm still marveling at how well the whole package works. Highly recommend.

The phone is really fast, the screen is sensitive at times, then not responsive to the Knock-On. It rarely slows down, but that is because of the apps running in the back ground. The only 24gigs to use is kind of upsetting rather than the 32 it says it has. Would be great if it had an SD slot. But after seeing the performance of the Korean version of it, I'd rather have this one. Battery life is amazing but with more apps, It does die faster. Watching videos does kill the phone faster too. The screen being 1080p is wonderful, videos in that quality play amazingly. The camera is good outside, but in an inside setting there has to be a really good amount of light to look good. The buttons being in the back is nice, yes you do have to think a second which button is which. It beats almost having it slip from your hands pressing a power button on top. The speaker on the bottom isn't all that great, but having it in the back wouldn't be either, the best place would be in the front. would be better if the headphone jack could be on top and covered. I like how the screen is rounded, then stuff can't get caught in it.

I was buying a smartphone for the first time. I know, a bit behind the times. I had been reading reviews about different phones and was sold on getting a Galaxy. When I went into the store, the LG rep was there and was able to show me all of the features of the G2. I was sold on how easy it is to navigate around, the buttons on the back are definatly in the right place, and double tap on/off is a great feature.
I would recommend this phone to anyone needing a workhorse of a smartphone.

Excellent phone with great battery

The phone is a wonderful marvel of technology. LG really out did themselves with this phone. I had the Galaxy S3 before this phone and was really looking at getting the Galaxy S4, but after messing with my friends S4 and than the LG G2, it was clear that the LG was a lot nicer phone with a few better features than the S4. The phone is so fast and the camera is amazing at taking pictures and video. There are a lot of other really nice features on the phone, but I would suggest you play with them both or another and go from there. You won't be disappointed with the LG G2.
