I love this phone!

I really liked my last LG phone so it was an easy decision to stay with LG. I've only had my new phone for a month so I am still discovering "little gems" about how it works or ways I can change functions. I love it!
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

Great Smartphone

I love this smartphone. When I first got it, I had trouble answering the phone, not use to the slide to answer function. Now I love it and it has not disappointed me. It has great features and I am still learning new things everyday. This phone made me no longer miss my I-phone.

Was a great phone, kitkat update ruined it.

I used to love my G2, but all that changed when i got the kitkat update. i always thought updates were supposed to improve phones, but this update has done just the opposite. i used to get 14-16 or more hours of battery life, but now I'm lucky to get 6. before i had this phone i had the Nexus 4, and even it, with a less efficient processor, and smaller battery, i ended the day with heavy use and lots of streaming at 50%. my g2 before the kitkat update was just as good. but with kitkat, i got exactly 6 hours today before i was 5%. its unreal. i loved my phone before kitkat, and thats why i gave it 4 stars across the board, would have been 5 across the board if it wasn't for the battery life issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

People may say "Lg???"
but I think it's better than any other android phone in its class #smaller than 5" screen# in 2013

Best undiscovered phone out there

This phone is simply amazing: FANTASTIC battery life, fantastic screen, thin bezels, and with features like knock on, Qslide, and even infrared remote for your electronics - it is simply the best flagship phone of 2013.

Best phone I've ever had

This is, no doubt, the best phone I've ever had. The LG engineers and UI designers did an excellent job. I quite like having the control buttons on the back, out of the way. The camera takes very nice photos. The "knock-on/off" feature is very helpful (and I swear after Kit-kat works better than before). The camera is good. I love the Quick Settings, the Qslide, and the slide beside thing (though I haven't gotten in the habit yet of using that last, once I retrain myself it will be very useful for things like LastPass).
I have had NO problem with the KitKat update whatsoever. The battery life remains excellent, and is perhaps even improved?
And most important: the call quality is great. With my previous smartphone I basically couldn't use it in my own house because the verizon signal wasn't good enough. This phone makes a clear solid connection every time which lasts through even the longest calls, from even the most problematic room in my house (my office, with all the wifi etc).
All this in a great form-factor. The screen is big enough to actually read something (for my aging eyes), but the phone is small enough, and slim and light enough, to easily carry in my tiny purse or a pocket. And is comfortable in the hand.
I hope folks from LG are reading all the rave reviews on this phone from around the 'net and are passing it on to all the many, many people at LG who I know helped create this.

I really enjoy this phone but the battery does not hold a charge. I've had it for six months and now it only last a day. I never had issues with my other phones. I guess it's time to buy a new battery.
