I am a tech addict. I love gadgets and gizmos galore. When it came time to choose my new toy as I call it I had 2 choices. The G2 was one of those choices. Reading the specifications didn't do this phone justice. They say the battery will last thing long and talk about stuff that really doesn't impress you but using the device will. Battery usually will last all day if I do not go app crazy. I can't say enough about the camera. So many different options on it. The buttons on the back was a great change. I wish everyone would move the buttons. So I would recommend the device to anyone wanting a cool phone.

Many more features than other phones I've had over the past 20 years. I love the optional protective cover with viewing window (with options for what I see) and the auto-on function when opening the front cover and the "Voice" command apps work great and provide safe, hands-free operations. Having the G2 gave me hope for being able to stay on top of new technology and now I am exited to see what the G3 has to offer!

This phone has lots of great features, did have a problem with my battery dying quick, but an associate told me that if I let it completely die once a week or two then charge it, it'll work a lot better, and it has ever since I started doing that.

This G2 is a very dependable phone. It does everything I want it to. The only problem I've noticed is people can't hear me that great so I have to talk kinda loud but that's no big deal. Can't wait to try the G3

I love the features but the phone is a little fragile...had it a week and dropped it less than 6 inches on to a table and it took a chip from the screen and now 1/2inch section of the screen doesn't work

Everything about this phone is great. The size of the display is big, but not overly huge, and fits perfectly in your hand. It is so thin for its size that it is almost too thin. It is also incredibly light weight. for the size. The display is sharp, calls are clear, the camera takes great pics, the processor is speedy, the customization is unbelievable and the short cuts are genius. And one of the best features on the G2....... the battery. This thing will last all day when other phones are dead. All in all I think this phone is near perfect.
The only thing I dislike about the phone is the back of the phone is a bit slick for my hands. This was a easy fix because like every other smart phone that I've owned I simply put it in a case. This is the reason why I did not give 5 stars for its quality. Please do not misunderstand me on this the phone is a high quality build, I just do not like the slickness of the back of the phone.
It made such a good imppression on a friend of mine that he decided to go with the G3 when he switched to Verizon.

Short battery life & touchscreen issues

On my 2nd G2 as the touchscreen went out on my initial device after 2 months. Its not a bad phone but not the greatest either. Disappointing battery life with light to moderate use. Won't last a day especially if taking any pics. Touchscreen went out & is starting to go out on replacement device that I got end of July 2014. Hope the touchscreen quality & durability on G3 is better after having so many issues with G2.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
