This was my first smart phone and I got it for free with a two year plan. I had a lot of requirements going into the purchase, such as a good camera, decent amount of storage, not an iPhone. I absolutely love everything about this. The camera is exceptional, and I haven't come close to using all the memory. The only downside to it was that the original messaging app wasn't stellar. But I fixed that by downloading a new one. Overall, it is a great phone and still runs the same as the first day I bought it, (which was six months ago). Extra plus, the screen is super durable. I've dropped this baby a ton of times and not even a scratch has appeared.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

I've owned a couple of LG phones and this is by far the best!! My Verizon contract is up in November. I hope to get the G4 if it's out and running well...and hopefully it'll have an aluminum body. I love my G2.

Love the phone! Good everything. My one and only drawback is finding cases and wallet cases that will fit the Verizon version. Even the ones that are specifically for the Verizon LG G2 phone. Otherwise, a great phone.

i have had this phone for 2 years and it is just now starting to do stupid things, i don't drop my phone or handle it roughly, the worst thing i hate about my phone is the auto updates that is sent to it.

Have only had for short time, but I've found it user friendly. Have had some issues with GPS being slow (not sure that's LG phone issue however). I switched from Iphone, and so far am happy that I switched. I like the larger screen.
Pros: easy to use, Style/Design

I bought this phone when I switch my old phone (Optimus G) Great durability & great performance. It feels like having a small laptop in your fingertips.

Worst phone I have ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this phone just about a year and it simply the worst phone ever. It is slow and randomly shuts off and or just goes back to home screen. Sometimes it is impossible to send text messages. It just says sending and never sends. Also, the phone gets hot to touch and it must be restarted. The battery life is poor and it doesn't stay charged even for a day. I absolutely hate this phone and would never recommend purchasing it. I will never by LG again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i never even thought twice about leaving samsung behind for good because one phone design, extreme usability and performance, just dominated and trumped all other brands. i still have and use my vs980. i fixed itba few times but no design is without a small flaw. small price to pay. this phone is still relevent today next to its newer versions. starts faster than g3 ,4 and 5. of course the g5 owns but g2 still standing strong and is better than 85% of other phones on the market. and thanks to the g5 the g2 is pretty affordable to by outright to bring to any carrier. love this phone!!!! thanks lg!!!!
