Had the TV about a year then the picture went (LED failure). Looks like a common problem with this TV. No more LG's...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in the summer of 2014. Tonight was in the middle of a game and all of the sudden there was no picture. Still have sound. Doesnt look like the backlights are on, I did the flashlight test and there is still an image on the screen. So either I splurge on replacment parts that might fix it if it is the LED driver but could still be the LEDs themselves. Things aren't built to last anymore. We are a throwaway society.

Had the TV less than 2 years and the back lighting went out. Bring back the CRT they last 20 to30 years!

TV Quit After 2yrs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV worked fine for two years until one day, in the middle of watching it, the picture just went out. The sound was still on, but no picture. I'm beginning to understand why these products only come with a 1 yr warranty. Lesson learned: when purchasing LG, positive reviews don't mean squat. Get the extended warranty or face costly repairs.

Should have done more research

As a novice when it comes to TV buying, I had no idea how much research one should conduct before buying. As a result, I bought one of these and the picture quality is horrific. I had no idea that "HZ" made a HUGE difference in the actual alignment of pixels that produced picture quality. Never, ever, ever get a 60 HZ TV!!!!!! Start off with 120HZ and if you have the $$$$$, go for the 240HZ. You'll thank me later.....

Video Quality is very good compared to many other products at this price range. Very good options to hook 2 HDMI Devices and the screen resolution is very good even with fast moving pictures and video. I play PS3 and the video quality looks very good and don't see any flickering even for fast moving games.
Coming to Audio Quality it is nice and decent and as many flat screens don't expect a superb bass with Quality.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Quality
