After I discovered it was my old washer that was cutting small holes in our clothes, I began researching for a replacement. Included in that research was talking to three appliance repairmen to find out what front-loaders they had to repair the least. All three replied, "Whirlpool." I decided to go with the full bells-and-whistles model, and I'm not sorry I did. This machine does an outstanding job on everything from small rugs to cashmere sweaters. (Yes, you read that correctly--I no longer have to take high-end wool garments to the dry cleaner!)
I love the capacity, the cleaning power, the auto-dispense for detergent, the options--everything. Yes, it's pricey, so wait and catch a good sale somewhere. Two warnings: make sure it's installed by someone who really knows how to install and level a front-loader. That is critical. And, PLEASE read the manual, at least for loading and selecting the cycle and options! I didn't purchase the pedestals, because I have wall cabinets above my machines and there isn't enough vertical space. But, a carpenter built a 12" high platform that holds both the washer and dryer, and I've had absolutely NO shaking or "traveling," even on the extra-high spin speed. I've had it in my home for the better part of a year, and am as happy with it now as I was when it first arrived.

This washer dryer set looks fantastic !! They also perform as well as they look. Our cloths look and feel better. Despite some other reviews on other sites about a problem with the spin cycle not balancing, We have not had any issues like that. The only negative would be the price. Wait for a sale!
I would recommend this to a friend!
