Adds to the décor of my kitchen as well. The little extra bells and whistles come in handy when put to use i.e. warmer, defrost, etc.

couple months into owning, so far very pleased. interface took a bit too get used to because it worked differently than last one but now I really like it. heats food really well. overall a very good microwave.

Microwave replaced

I bought this microwave at the end of the year, 2013. After waiting a few weeks for the installation(was not in stock), it worked for about a week before the automatic fan went on and would not shut off after a half hour. I unplugged it over night, and re-plugged in the morning. The fan continued to run. GE repairman came out in a few days and said the thermo-regulator malfunctioned and did not have a replacement on him and he would order it and have it sent in a week plus he scheduled a repair at that time too. It never arrived and I had to make several calls to GE as they never notified me that the part was back ordered for several weeks. After a month without a microwave, GE replaced the microwave as they could not guaranty when the part would be available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just purchased this microwave recently and I have to say that it is great! It has so much room inside and I am able to do a lot more then I was used to with my other one. It looks wonder and I have no problems with it. I would recommend it to everyone that needs a new microwave.

It works fine. Controls are odd; the main controls are between controls that I would never use. It feels a bit flimsy.
