We do no use fancy features in the microwave, but we use it several times daily. It looks great with the range, and it works great. It is faster than our previous microwave.

Be careful

I love my new microwave from GE. It has many useful features and fits into a small area between my cabinets. However, if you purchase it, be careful not to let the wire rack touch the sides or top during cooking.....it will leave a burn mark.

I bought this GE microwave after my original GE profile microwave gave out after only only 6 years of use. The reason I purchased it was because all the existing installation brackets could be reused. This new microwave works well and has all the features I need. I like the mute feature when things are finished so I don't wake up the household in the morning with the beeping. I also like the instant cook features for fast programing.
About the only thing negative I've noticed is that the door and the way it closes seems a little on the tinny side. It does not have a nice solid feel when I close it, but it still works fine.
I hope this appliance last longer than my more expensive Profile model.

I bought this microwave two months ago and love it. Very intuitive control panel. The vent fan is totally automatic to vent the underneath gas range. I assume that it is temperature controlled. . . Very nice.

This is our 2nd GE micro and I love it. Good gets heated evenly and the best feature is the recessed turntable so more dishes will fit in
