Was bought in 2013. No problems. Totally delighted with this product.
Only 1 issue and that would be the location of the lighting, would be much
better if it were closer to the front. It obscures the panel controls to
my GE stove.

Stick with GE! They KNOW appliances!!

We had a GE Spacemaker for about 10 years and were looking for an update to our appliance. We had no issues at all, mechanical, electrical or any other in the 10 years, very reliable. So, when we started shopping, of course have a budget, we were looking at many different models and brands. We purchased another supposedly reliable and well-known brand. Very disappointing to say the least. After installation, we noticed that the label/panel, was crooked. So had to have that replaced. After that was replaced, the door on the microwave was not working smoothly, not aligned properly or installed properly. So, we returned the other brand, after much frustration and regret, and purchased this new GE 1.7 cubic foot model. WOW! The GE is a top notch product!! New features, new look, very quiet and reliable. Stick with GE products!

Great Microwave

We've had this microwave for a few months now and love it. It is much quieter than the one it replaced and cooks very evenly. We especially like the reheating option with the sensor. It takes the guess work out of reheating a meal.
