The first year GE manufactured an over the stove microwave, WE BOUGHT IT. We loved it. She finally had to retire. We immediately knew what we were going to buy. No if ands or buts. Our new GE over the stove microwave is great. We just purchased a GE gas double oven range. Love it!

I really appreciate all of the heating features...

Microwave is very easy to operate. I am very satisfied with the heating features. However, the timung buzzerisvery weak, and can not be easily heard in rooms away from the microwave. And, yes, I did turn it on loud.

Bought this microwave and it only worked one time. Great GE service to fix it but took over a month to get the part. The screws to attach it under the cupboard were stripped and needed to get new ones. The internal anchor not very strong so needed braces. Microwave works great now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great. Simple, nothing fancy which is what I wanted. Only negative is that the keypad is hard to read.

I bought this unit to replace an older model. I love the new and exciting features this unit comes with, such as the one touch cooking and the sensor cooking. I love the programmable night light also. It has exceeded my expectations of features & operating ease , while Installation was very easy, the unit was considerably lighter than my old one. I have been using it for 1 1/2 days. It is so easy to use and is one I would recommend to my family and friends.

All the features I need and more

When I moved I left behind an earlier, similar model GE that we really liked So, of course, I replaced the rather ancient microwave in my new home with this model. The high rating in Consumer Reports helped me make the decision. I only wish I had had the option for a light colored control panel.
