The touch pad needs to be illuminated, hard to see in the early morning etc. I use a small flash light. Would make this product wonderful! Not evryone has eyes of an eagle!!!!!!!!!!

I was replacing a similar GE microwave that lasted 16 years. Unfortunately the stove top light is very ineffective and only shines on the back of the stove top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
