I purchased the microwave 2 months ago, and it's easy to use. It really reheats the food fast and evenly, and defrosts frozen foods without cooking the food.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am quite happy with this microwave oven. Love the timer of the night light feature...the sensor to reheating of leftovers and some of the other features. Three complaints however. The light for the stove top is way too dim, the fan is very loud and doesn't come on automatically as stated in the manual.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heats up fast. Caution, do not use metal-like coffee containers even if it says "microwave safe". This microwave is powerful and will cause the mug to catch on fire.

Needs work to improve function

Bought this microwave in haste. It's okay, not terrific. Didn't notice that the "over the stove" light was in the back of the bottom and is useless in lighting the stove top. Stupid! The control panel choices that you press are too small and not bright enough. I miss the "butter softened" and "butter melted" on my old microwave. The manual is a cheap newspaper style. Very poor for looking up info in a hurry. Not impressed with GE on this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
