Purchased this microwave in April 2015 for a couple of reasons, one is the features and easy of usage and the other because of its purchase price.

Easy install and great sleek look. Stick with GE!

This replaced a GE microwave that I had for 8 years. The brackets and mounting ware that was already on the wall matched the current mountingware that's needed for this microwave. It was as easy as disconnecting the old one and attaching the new one. The old one was held in the place by 3 screws. This only needed 2 (I even used the old screws. They fit perfectly) therefore it left me with 1 unused hole in my cabinet but its ok. GE has made replacement of their appliance so easy. I tried replacing my old one with a different brand (for availability purposes since the GEs were all in back order) but I ended up returning it because it would have required new mounting brackets, shifting my cabinets, or busting some of my backsplash tile if I had kept it. This has made me stick with GE. It fit perfectly. I just hope that this one will last longer than 8 years. Sleek look. 1.6 cubic feet is great but a huge down grade from my last one which was more than 1.6 cubic feet.

We received this unit as a replacement for our old one. It exceeded my expectations, which made me a happy GE customer. Quiet, and love the night lite feature with timer.

I had another GE microwave which lasted 14 years. I removed it and mounted the new one using the same bracket. Easiest install ever!

Purchase was to replace an existing GE Profile that served us well for several years. I hoped the new unit used the old mounting plate, and was pleased to find it did. Installation was quick and easy.
