Great price point

Only one short coming, the surface light. It's old technology incandescent. We installed led undercabinet lights and the single location incandescent light sticks out like a sore thumb. If this is important to you you might consider a more expensive model. We didn't realize they differed until after the unit was installed. Some of the more expensive models have double halogen lights.

Repacement Microwave

This microwave was a replacement for a similar GE microwave that was only 3.5 years old that had a faulty circuit board . The unit could not be repaired because GE no longer made or stocked a replacement circuit board. So I have to conclude that GE products are only as good as the parts last and cannot be repaired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
