The microwave was just installed today...I like the lighting features and it looks nice above my stove. I do have one concern the 'sensor' I think that is what it is called seems to be uneven..the glass plate does not sit evenly on top of the sensor. I will have to call customer service tomorrow to see what I need to do to resolve the problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WE bought a new house and first GE microwave was defective, coating on bottom burned off from heat from surface light. The new one has less options and has the same problem so we do not use the surface light as we would like.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
