Display Not Easy to Read

We bought this is the spring and the microwave works fine. The problem we have is that the function keys are difficult to read because they are poorly lit. We need to turn on additional lights in the kitchen to read the captions for the buttons
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great microwave

I've owned various other GE products in the past and when I purchased this older house that was previously a rental, it did not come with a microwave. Since I use a microwave every day, I needed to purchase one immediately and knew it was going to be GE.

Decent microwave

We have had the microwave in use for several months. It works well but the screen plastic is already fading and it looks a lot older than it is. It could be the amount of sunlight in our kitchen or from cleaning. So if you if you have less light or do less cleaning, I would totally get it!

Good looking w/ great features

There are only two things about this unit we're not thrilled with and didn't realize till after we installed it... there is hardly a difference between the 2 fan speeds and we would rather the range light be placed more toward the front of the unit, rather than the rear - its too close to the wall. Not deal breakers, but worth mentioning.

Had this installed about a week or so ago. I love the looks of this microwave. It matches my stove beautifully. It's easy to clean, has a shelf for cooking additional larger size items and has an easy and quick touch pad for every operation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cuts fast and hot

It cooks fast, but I sure would have liked a Defrost button available instead of having to guess. I don't like stainless steel, but the other model was made of plastic which doesn't hold up. It's okay, but a microwave is just a microwave and not the love of my life in my home. If nothing else was available that I really wanted, this will do. I can recommend it, but I can't love it.
