Sleek design

We've had this double oven for about a month and generally have been very pleased with it. We partially chose it for the handles that taper toward the oven door, rather than have squared ones that stick out. The major drawback is the oven temperatures do not coincide with recipe time recommendations or with recent older oven performance (also a GE Profile.) It's roughly 10 degrees too low. Also, note this double oven does not come with a broiler pan! Luckily we saved one from the old oven.

Don’t Use Self Cleaning

Okay. Don’t use the self cleaning function or you will burn up the circuit boards and cooling fan.

What a difference

What a difference the right oven can make. Totally love this oven unit. My southern recipes are finally turning out as they should even with the convection feature.

My first oven in 40 years!

Purchased product from Lowe's. Arrived in good condition and once installed, I started cooking right away! I replaced my 40 year old oven with this GE profile product and I was amazed how easy the oven is to use. I particularly like the Cook Time feature which turns the oven off at the end of the timed cycle. Consumer must install the side rails for the racks and I appreciated GE providing extra nuts. I dropped one during installation. I do think the owner's manual is a little sparse on operating instructions and the copied addendum to the manual was useless as it was poor quality. I chose this GE Profile series appliance because I own a GE Profile ceramic electric cook-top which has been very reliable.

Great size and features

I've had my new ovens just a short time, but I'm already impressed with the performance. I roasted a very expensive beef tenderloin using the probe, and it cooked perfectly to the temperature I selected. The oven is well lit and the window is enormous which makes it very easy to monitor baking foods. At this point, my only complaint is that the digital display is not that easy to read when one needs to change some of the Special Features settings. I did manage to change the Tone Volume (SoUnd) to Hi, but Hi is not nearly as loud as it should be. Overall though, I'm very happy with my new ovens and I would recommend them.

Excellent Product

I still have not taken advantage of all the features nor have I even used the lower oven and yet I still love this oven. The exterior heat when the oven is on is minimal, the oven cools down quickly, heats up quickly. The convection feature is what caused me to buy this oven and I think GE has perfected it. I don't remember my previous convection oven heating up and cooking as quickly at this product. I LOVE IT!
