Extremely happy

I purchased this new GE double wall oven as a replacement and I am sorry I struggled with the former (different manufacturer) oven so long. This GE model is very quiet and has a huge interior even though the outside dimensions are the same. I can definitely fit more inside which came in very handy for feeding 21 people on Easter Sunday.

Installation instructions need work

Poor installation instructions with regard to the specs for the oven cabinet. Instructions refer to installing "with pedestal" or "without pedestal". A "pedestal" is commonly thought of as a separate cabinet or drawer upon which the appliance sits, as in a "pedestal" that you can purchase to raise your clothes washer to a more convenient height. I had not purchased a "pedestal" and built the cabinet accordingly. The "pedestal" they refer to is actually two metal rails about two inches tall which could be installed in the cabinet upon which the oven could then sit. The specs on the cabinet opening "without pedestal" are incorrect. You should be very careful when constructing the cabinet that you do not make the opening too tall if you are not going to use these rails.

Functionally solid double oven

Overall solid double oven, which was relatively easy to assemble and install. Digital displays/functions are easy to understand and quickly came to desired heat.

Very Nice Oven

We had to replace a GE Profile and stuck with GE. This product is actually a much nicer oven with wonderful features to include hidden heating elements at the bottome of the ovens. Love that because it simplifies cleaning. Also, the one rack per oven is on a roller which makes access to food a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i have only bought single ovens before and looked hard at a single unit double oven. this oven is way better than any other oven I have bought. (4).

We originally had a different manufacturers oven with our home installation. It was loud and invasive in comparison to the new GE oven. The touch sensitive buttons are also much better than the previous oven, which you had to almost lean into to get the option pressed.
Food is cooked even and quickly in the convection, and the traditional bottom oven works as expected.
We have not used it yet, but the temperature probe cook option will come in handy for many bigger meats being cooked.
Last, the rack system is very nice. There is one rack (we use it in the convection portion) that has a track system, so it pulls out easy like a drawer would.
Very satisfied with the purchase, and look forward to the next meal.
