This oven is a perfect fit for our new kitchen. The convection option speeds up cooking and makes great tasting food. I haven't event tried all the features yet, can't wait to test out the high temp broiler.

Our old GE finally died and we needed another. The Profile series seemed to be the only way to go. It is fully loaded with features which is hard to find in a 27" oven. Thanks GE!

Convential/convection built-in oven

Old GE built-in oven (circa 1994?), became intermittently in operative with an error code of "F5" indicating temperature probe failure. After replacing probe, still same failure, led to the upgrade of the newest GE Profile Model #: PK7000SFSS .
It looks great, has worked about 5 months without any issues.
I does have a cooling vent fan that operates to cool the oven built-in cavity to prevent oven electronics from overheating. Fan noise can be annoying. Sti have not tried the convection mode of baking. Buying a convection oven might have been my error in assuming its usefulness.

I bought this oven to replace another name brand and the design and features far exceed the other competitor brand. We're very satisfied with the large door feature as well.

we had to retire our old GE oven, finally could not get parts to repair it. It was placed in serivce in 1976. It has worked beautifully all these years. I know that I am going to enjoy the new features and the sleek new look of my new GE.
