Great Compact Scanner

Scanner works very well. So far no jamming of paper. I use it for scanning documents into my electronic medical record and I am pleased with it.

Easy to use, quick set up Wireless Scanner

Scanner is good value. Easy to set up, including the wireless. Handles multiple sizes, pages, and automatically duplexes. Takes up very little room on my desk and, with the wireless, you only have one cord to deal with. Fast enough for home or small office. I'm enjoying clearing out paper files too, especially during tax season.

Not very good

Poorly designed scanner. Jams constantly, can't take more than sheets with feeding issues or jamming. Very slow scanning. After one week, and even Brother support, I returned the unit for my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Little Scanner

This is a great scanner - We've set it up in the office so that it scans directly into a folder in our business Dropbox. We then save it to the appropriate project folder. Crisp, clear scans... very good machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i had a regular big scanner/printer. which was great for prininting, but like alot of things to many things put together do not make it better. this scanner is great. fast. small. love it. i have no problems at all. the receipt slip is a must. i scan all day and before it would be a tiring task. now i want to scan stuff. i go looking for things to scan.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very basic scanner

Purchased this scanner today and I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied.

A very lengthy set up process. They walk you through the download but then you are on your own for configuring the network setup. Took about 1.5 hours and 2 IT specialists to finally get it set up.
DOES NOT HAVE A 1 SIDE scan option when trying to scan into a network. Which makes the scanning painfully slow. I called customer service because I thought surely there was an issue with my device and "tod", my ever so helpful agent, told me that this was just a product limitation and there was nothing that could be done to fix it... your kidding me right? 1 hour on hold for that fantastic advice?
This scanner does not have 25ppm. When using network it is closer to 5ppm. Around 10ppm when using usb cable. FALSE ADVERTISING.
After scanning 50 documents in a 20 minute time frame the device simply stopped working. Even after a full re-boot the device continued to not work.
OVERALL:
I will be returning this tomorrow. If you are looking for a scanner for home use and a small 2 page job then this will work fine. If you need to use it consistently then take my word for it and spend the extra money for a quality scanner. THIS PRODUCT is not a quality scanner.

Works great for the price

I have only have one paper jam and it was my fault. Documentation is bad, but finally figured it out on my own Scanning directly to Evernote was difficult so scan to a folder and then move to Evernote. Putting receipts in between the plastic holder is a pain, but works. Scanned business cards, very thin paper, mixed paper. All worked well except for the one jam.

Tried other scanners, but my Brother Scanner is much easier and efficient to use. Love that it does business cards and credit cards as well as both sides of page at once.
