AMAZING SCANNER!!

Needed a new desktop scanner for my business and this was the perfect choice! I have limited space on my desk and the compact size opened it right up for me! Super fast! Installed like a dream! Easy to use and works great! VERY happy with this purchase!

Just what I need

After about a month using this scanner, I really like it very much. I don't use the receipt scanning software. I use the scanner to archive letters and papers, and will use it to scan personal photos.
The setup was pretty quick and straightforward, and it worked correctly the first time.
The flatbed scanner I replaced was slow and directing the files to my computer was cumbersome. This is smooth and flexible.
It scans photos well. Perhaps not to professional standards, but at 600x600dpi, the resulting .jpg remains crisp even when magnified on the screen.
Clearing a jam (it's happened two or three times) is very simple, and explained in the online documentation.
Accept the limitations: Because it's traction feed, it's not good for delicate documents. It can handle long paper, but not wide paper. Standard photographs scan well, but maybe not those on heavy-duty photographic paper.
Also, they advise a workload of about 500 pages a month.
For an inexpensive scanner, I'm very happy with the work it does.

the machine works fine I got it to scan business cards works fine I just don't know where to put them or how to make a file to put them in. Next why can't I find just a simple icon to put on desk top like I have on an old windows 7 program this is an apple 10.9 laptop.

Features Great- Constant problems

I was disappointed with this product. For the price, I was expecting it to be a little better than it was. The scanner always wants to pull the papers in sideways, causing them to crinkle, then causing them to get stuck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pages don't separate so they go through one on top of each other so I have to re-scan the file again. Almost every time I use this machine the documents jam. The papers pull though and get sucked in crooked so then the machine jams. I have to sit there and feed them through holding the edges, making sure it goes through ONE BY ONE and straight. I would not buy this product again. I find more frustration with this product than any other machine in my office.

I have two issues that really bug me:
1. Page properties does not stick when scan profile is created, thet is they are not saved.
2. Setting up for email requires more that rudimentary knowledge. It should be something as easy as setting up a mail client on your phone.

Easy to setup, fast scans, accurate

Had 4+ boxes of paper including receipts, business cards, taxes etc to scan so I could go "paperless". The scanner handled them all very quickly, was done with several large boxes in just a couple of hours. Great way to get back your sforage space in an office. All PDFs are easily searchable, I connected to Dropbox and the software had an easy plugin. Easily stored/not in the way. Very happy with the quality and speed of product.
