Good for the price

Software does not work

I used the included disk to install receipts and business card software. The receipts software installed and opened correctly but is ridiculously inaccurate. No matter what setting you try, it will not read the correct items and price.
Business card software crashes every time you try to open it with error messages in JAPANESE! I will be returning this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If only it had better linux drivers

Works great as a scan to USB device. And from there I can copy to my Linux box. I haven't yet figured out how to configure use with a Linux OS, but as a USB scanner I am very pleased. It is small, fast, and easy to use. Imaging is excellent. Resolution selection is easy. So far the automatic document feeder has handled normal and thin sized paper with no problem. Just wish it could be more Linux friendly. Would rate it 5 stars, but the Linux issue is a damper.

Great purchase

I really like my scanner. It takes a little while to get the hang of it and it does a great job. Each time you use it you have to go back the the scanner central icon.

Not very compatible

Returned the product after trying for 10 days to make it work. Seemed to not be very compatible with the MAC OS. Slow and also not very accurate

great product but does need help keeping pictures straight as they get pull down into scanner bar. and the software does little to descew images that the the hardware causes to be scewed int he first place. other it is a great product.
