Refrigerator is way too deep.

I have technically owned this refrigerator for almost a month, but it is not in my house yet. After I had bought and paid for four appliances, it was mentioned by the delivery person that this refrigerator was deeper than most. I confess I had checked height and width carefully but had assumed the depth would be similar to the one I was discarding.
Because of the configuration of my small kitchen, this refrigerator would be ungainly and obtrusive in my space. Why do manufacturers think that people with small kitchens needing a narrow refrigerator would want one that extends so far into the room? Why don’t they make cabinet depth refrigerators in 33 inch widths? LG executives and designers, take note!! I could get cabinet depth in a 30 inch refrigerator, but not 33 inch. This makes no sense to me. I’d gladly give up the extra capacity to have a refrigerator that didn’t seem like the elephant in the room.
I am about to settle for another brand because that refrigerator will gain me one and one half inches of floor space. I’m that desperate!
The refrigerator is beautiful and I wish I could use it, but it’s just too deep!

Water filter and ice maker issues

I bought several water filters from LG. The filters work for about 2 days and then the water dispenser flow almost come to a halt. I have tried several new filters but still the same issue. When I use the filter bypass there are no water flow issues. The filters were so bad that because of the lack of flow it ended up slowly dripping into the internal motor of the ice machine and froze it. So now the ice machine motor is shot. The tech that came to my house said that he has seen this happen many times before with this model and has reported it to LG but they won't do anything about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband and I purchased this LG fridge. We love the fridge, but we have one major problem....the water dispenser freezes. It has done it since the day we have purchased it and honestly I think it is getting worse. We have hard wood floors and the fridge is ruining my floors because every other time you use it, it sticks and keeps spraying out more water. And the little tray to catch the water is really just there for show, it doesn't catch anything but maybe a few fallen ice cubes. I love everything about the fridge, organization, style, lighting, etc. But I am starting to hate the fridge because of one main problem.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this frig!

We got this to replace a side by side & I have mixed feelings on the bottom freezer! I find it hard to keep organized & find things but it works well!
We wish the ice maker made more ice! We run out alot so now we bought extra trays & we dump the ice at night before we go to bed! So far it's working but it takes up freezer room! And you have to remember to dump it!
I've had a can of pop freeze & explode all over the frig because we stored pop on the top shelf in the back by the vents! Beware! But we know now Not to put things you don't want to freeze there! It keeps the food real cold there!
We Love the Stainless Finish it's very easy to clean,We Love the large water & ice compartment We love the small ice cubes just wish it made more ,We love the way the drawers are situated,We love the adjustable shelf so you can put extra tall ice tea pitchers etc in there when needed!
Overall It's a Great Frig !! I'm very happy with it so far!!

Love it with minor reservations

Dislikes
The doors are hard to adjust with the wrench provided. Should have noticed they were uneven and had the installer fix it.
Wish there were two fold-down shelves

Great Performance!

We bought this refrigerator a few months ago as LG was the only one that offered this style in a 33 inch width. Im so pleased with this unit and its performance There was knocks on the ice maker in other reviews but it works great and keeps up with a family of 4 using ice without an issue. We also have noticed better shelf life on our produce and lunch meats. It has lots of room and the door storage is excellent also. The freezer is great as it has 2 storage area's with an extra ice bin if you need more ice storage. If not you can remove the bin and have more space!!! The digital display and LED lightning makes it very nice to look at also.

I needed a replacement to fit in a 33" space and wanted to go with the largest capacity I could find. I was concerned that I wouldn't be happy "settling" for a 33" width instead of remodeling for a 36" but couldn't have been MORE wrong. We LOVE our new fridge. This model has plenty of internal storage and I love the bottom freezer. It is no nice to stand up right to open the fridge doors. It took a little getting used to at first to adjust the shelves properly but all my items quickly found a home in the new fridge. We have not had any issues with the icemaker. Having the external water has made my family actually drink more water. We love walking by the fridge and getting a cup of cold water with crushed ice. Also, the ice maker has been working fine for a family of 4. So far, we have not had an issue of running out of ice for normal drinks.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Wortless icemaker

Had this refrigerator 6 months ice maker has quit working at least 4 times. Gets stuck in the down position. Always running out of ice. There is only two people in house. The rest of the refrigerator works ok.
