LG is the only brand I'll now buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG refrigerator 2nd hand. (I stopped buying "NEW" when I realized I was just wasting money.). First, I researched which manufacturers made the best appliances. It was LG in all cases. We have LG washer and dryer, and now this fabulous refrigerator. The prior owner abused the refrigerator! They never changed the water filter, Never cleared the precipated calcium carbonate from the brilliantly designed ice maker, and suffered a leaking water line as a result. Their sloth and stupidity was my good fortune. I bought a top of the line refrigerator for less than HALF what a new one would have cost. I love the design, the quality and design. I'm sold on LG!

Two water line leaks.

We bought this model in 2014. It performs very well. However, in November of 2022 and in December of 2023, I had leaks in the water line for the water dispenser and ice maker. Very disappointing!
I’ve also noticed that many plumbers say they don’t work on LG refrigerators.
