This Is An Awesome Tablet - But Woeful Battery Life?

This is the best tablet I have owned and it's super-fast.
But the battery life is woeful, on this site it states 8 hours.
No it won't do 8 hours, not even in standby mode. If you are using this tablet 2 to 4 hours is the limit. My partner has the 10.1 Note 2014 edition and it has a larger processor with more RAM it will do 8 hours easy. But the Galaxy Note 8 won't. The longest it has done out of the box fully charged is 5 hours, it's now 3 months old and on a bad day 2 hours and it's flat, taking almost as long to charge. Spend the extra money and get the 10.1 Note 2014 Edition.

So far so good with one little hicup

So far the N8 is doing fine. I brought it to draw more than anything else. I have the N2, and I'm complete sold out on this phone, talk about drawing any where! My one let down with the GN8.0 seems to be that although it shares the same platform as the N2 it doesn't take full advantage of the white universal dock that has hdmi out 3.5mm jack and usb ports galore. WHen I place the GN8.0 into the dock Hdmi works fine to 26" LED monitor but no usb function to add mouse/keyboard.
I'm hoping Samsung could fix it to work with the powerful dock, I see no reason why it doesn't work, it should but it doesn't. Unless it's just mine? Oh I hope not!! The GN8 doesn't have too many accessories as it is, Samsung could have made sure this dock worked for the GN8 tablet. In there defence they don't bill it as an accessory. But this dock issue aside, it's a great working tablet for me, glad I purchased it!!

The s-pen is really unique it is wireless connected. And it looks so cool. The tab is great too. Best tab on the market for the price. Definitely recommend it to anybody.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, no cons

Although the Note 8 have a few issues I love it so far.
Pros: Lightweight, love the s-pen
Cons: a few software issues, laggy at times, case has seems you can see around the bezel
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is exactly what I need for work then school and other things through out my day. Having it in on general location is a saving factor.
