This is a great tablet. It has all the features that you could wish for. The S-Pen is awesome and very accurate.
I used it for both business and play.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great product BUT....

Samsung need to get the patch out ASAP for those who got affected by the problems brought about by the 4.2.2 update from 4.1 on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Samsung Support keeps on recommending to factory re-set the device as a quick fix.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is THE best tablet

Love the Note 8, so convenient and comfortable in one hand. Screen very clear and colorful, sound is excellent. Very sturdy build, quite fast. Above all, the S-pen is the best thing to happen to a computer. (Have tried other brands of digitizer, they don't even come close.) This one is much improved and smoother than my Note 10.1. Great job Samsung. Thanks alot.

Great for those who love Samsung products

I have a Galaxy phone and I love it. So when it came to buying a tablet it was a no brainer for me. I love that I can view any kind of document and work on it. I love that it is so easy to navigate. I love that I can use it to take notes and draw with the pen. There is just a couple of things about this product that really bug me. One, the camera has no flash. This surprised me because phone does have flash. There is also no spell check. I hope Samsung adds these features to the next one. Otherwise, I may have to go with a product from you-know-who.

Thank you for reading my review I will try to keep short and sweet. Just like everything it has it's pro's and con's which I will list.
Pro's
Very lightweight
Small enough to fit into my pocket (even with case)
Extremely fast response due to it's Quad Core Processing
Quality of picture is amazing maybe even a little too bright

Even after all that still I give it a solid 5 star rating. I use this product everyday and love all the features including Allshare Play and Cast to screen mirror to my TV.
I hope this helps and if you buy it just remember give it sometime so you can see that it will be your next favorite thing.

This tablet provides everything I need in a compact size. The clarity is excellent, the preloaded software provides all the basics for "Tablet 101" and more.
I think the battery life is good for the most part. If you use a lot of graphics and do games, it seems to need to be charged more often.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I love this product, 14hr battery, amazing screen. Very functional. Its a great screen size but still able to be put in the pocket. Plus it fits in my note 2 docking station allowing 3 usb ports and an hdmi out. Also has allshare cast. This product is a must have
