Was good for a month

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked well and was initially quite but after a month the carousel motor started making a lot of noise, so returned it and got a replacement, fingers crossed it will last longer than a month.

Extremely Disappointed

I bought the LG countertop microwave 7 months ago based on Consumer Reports and Best Buy Reviews. The only negative discussed was a very dark control pad, no light to see what you're doing so need light on in room. However, at three months and since, the microwave is so loud the noise is extremely off-putting, makes you think something's wrong. After further research, I discovered others who found the same problem. I did not purchase an extended warranty, so stuck.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I changed the orifices, I discovered most of the sheet metal screws would not thread out of the hole. I had to lift up, or put pressure on the item the screw was holding to get them out. Putting the screws back in, I found two were not able to tighten, stripped. other screws would not tighten because the screw threads at the bottom of the screw head would not hold. For what I paid for the range, the quality is not there.

Light Bulb Burned Out!!

Have you ever heard of this before?! Cannot get bulb replaced so I get a credit (still under warranty) only still have to buy an LG and this one is no longer available. It's the one that fits in my space!! If it weren't for the credit I'd never buy LG again!

Simple Operation and Maintenance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent product for the price. It operates quietly and has a number of advanced cooking options. Cleaning the oven is easy and disassembly is quick.
Two things I would like to see in future models would be a lighted keypad and some more intuitive guides to the advanced operations.
Over the past year that we have had this microwave oven, it has performed well and has not failed in any manner.

Great microwave

I purchase my LG LCRT1513ST microwave over 2 years ago (9/16) and so far so good. Only complaint I have (which others have notes), the touch pad is dark and I have to turn on a light in order to read the buttons. I will try to write another review next year on it's performance.
