the best microwave i've ever owned

I have always wanted a nice microwave that would do every thing that I wanted without having to keep defrosting, or having to have to keep adding minutes to get my food warm or thawed out all the time. I love this machine, I can sensor heat my food and it is hot when the bell goes off no extra time required. I can set the weight and quantity of food to defrost and that is all it take and it is thawed. I love the stainless steel look easy to wipe clean inside and out and the functions are easy to use and it has a quick set guide for easy directions in the book of setting. I feel everyone should get one. They will not be sorry I promise you

From the unique interior design inside to the sleek exterior appearance, this microwave has it all! Just enough cooking options to choose from that there is versatility without having to reach for the instruction manual every time; counter top feature makes it easily accessible for shorter and/or wheelchair bound cooks AND it definitely has power to spare!

What prompted me to go with LG was the fact that all the microwave ovens at work were that brand. Multiple users and different conditions and they are holding up. What I like about this one is it is easy to use and works quite well. It gets the job done.

The microwave oven rattles the entire counter top corner. The cover vibrates along with the turntable. It even shakes the glass covers on the ceramic pans.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Price Point vs Performance: Excellent

Superbly manufactured. Front protective see-thru plate excellent (not flimsy like others). Controls very well thought out. "TrueCookPlus" feature makes it technologically advanced. EZ-ON button is Great! (For "One-Touch" Cooking). Easy to Clean. Great Power 1200 watts cooking power. Great Styling.
Very stable on countertop. Door is a joy to open and close (very easy). Sensor touch cooking feature. Even has a Kitchen Timer function! This stood out in the store where I bought it.

Great Microwave, Love the Interior Size

Bought this to replace our 13 yr. old 2.2 cu. Ft. microwave that started acting up (different brand). We have now had this one for a little over a month. Works great, love the 16” platter size (same as our old one), a big plus, as it allows room for a dinner plate and small bowl at the same time, or other container combinations, a big convenience in reheating a meal. The larger exterior size is worth the interior space. You would notice a 1.1 Cu. Ft. microwave on your counter anyway. Microwave is quite quiet when running. The rounded rear interior corners are a nice practical design feature. Those eliminate 2 corners making cleaning easier. The dark interior is different and takes some getting used to after seeing white/cream interior for 20+ years. But it does look nice. When cooking time is complete the beeper continues to beep every minute or so if you do not push the Stop button or open the door. That is a nice feature, so that you don’t forget you had food in the microwave if you did not hear the initial beeping. The one thing we don’t really like is that the control panel does not have a lot of contrast (white outlines) to easily see the specific buttons, as our old one did. It’s a little difficult to input in dimmer light. It makes the front panel look more solid black when you look at it, a plus I guess, but you still know it’s a microwave sitting on you counter. Can’t say anything about durability / life span, but hope it lasts at least the 13 years our old one did. Too many items today are being made as Disposable – why make them last too long.
